Welcome to Mojito Friday Circle
A Circle with a Twist
Today's Assignment (01.31.14): *Abstract*
This week's theme is very open and it could stimulate your creativity in so many directions: In Abstract you as the artist have the freedom to express yourself as you wish; no restrictions; no limits -- choose an image and expand your creative abilities by experimenting with colors, textures, tones, and don't worry about what others may think. Choose any photo editing technique that you feel comfortable with, such as Photoshop or any web-based ones you may find.
From Wikipedia: "Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.".
Here's a link to Abstract Images on Google: http://goo.gl/L6tQH2
And, heer's a link to Wikipedia on Abstract Art, that to me also applies to photography: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abstract_art
Instructions: Post a single image, or create a G+ album, you may post the original image for comparison and include one or two or more related images that have worked on and have meaning to you, i.e. personal value, processing challenge that became a learning experience, etc. You may also choose to post images unrelated images, taken at different times, different angles, or the same image with different processing. You get the point. Explain why you've chosen the image/s.
Your work will be re-shared on the MOJITO ART FRIDAY
The images can be generated from previous work you've already posted on G+, or partially posted before, it doesn't matter. The opportunity created is the ability to generate ideas, get to know each other, and be exposed to amazing works of art. (Post your work on your own stream as usual, then post a link to it on the comments section below).
